Thanks to my inability to get the recycling out of the house promptly, the kids always have junk on hand to make new stuff out of. Friday afternoon they played Spy Kids. They took almost all the cardboard and paper out of the bin and made secret binoculars, measuring tape, things they could write the names of secret "plants" on, and note pads. When Tomas got home, he showed them how to write secret messages in code. It took a while, but Miss M did get the message. And B certainly showed us that he understood the concept :-)

Have I mentioned he’s six?
